Saturday, June 17, 2023 was a glorious day! The weather could not have been more perfect for our home blessing and open house — sunny and warm but not too warm. Our volunteers did an amazing job decorating, blowing up balloons, grilling hotdogs and helping to create a festive setting for our celebration — and cleaning up afterward! Pastor Greg Deason from Frankenmuth Bible Church led the home blessing and members of our board each took a turn sharing remarks. And Diane Keenan (executive director of the East Side Soup Kitchen) presented a check for $3,000 on behalf of Rotary Club of Saginaw and Saginaw On Stage.
We estimate 100-150 people came out throughout the afternoon, even though there was so much going on in Saginaw. These photos are just a sampling, but OH, what a day!
